I re-purposed two fragments from one of my photos I took early 2019 called 'Agua Mornings'. The original photo, which I didn't have at the time of writing, was of a car-park during sunrise in the UK. Took a piece of the sky, I liked, which had natural gradient and thought it would make a nice simple, clean, fresh but modern CD cover. Slapped on some more 'aesthetics' with the Parental Guidance label.
Personally, taking fragments and purposing them helps me learn about what could look nice in a given setting, or medium. And also helps understand how else my designs can be used
