My 5th interpretation of what the world could look like if the sky wasn't blue.
I often revisit the idea of 'visual optics' - where in a different space to earth, every object we recognise and understand on Earth becomes very different if the Nature of Light there was flipped upside-down or completely different.
With visual optics, I ask questions such as "how would we feel if...", "how would we be behave if...", "does the belief of XYZ still hold value if..." and usually attach this question to a real-life, seemly mundane and taken-for-granted object/thing such as the, sky, and wonder how humans would behave if the sky was, red for example - would we get up and go about our lives differently if the whole world was tinted red? Do certain things now hold no value e.g. taillights are now red, just like the sky - do we notice these warnings anymore? Are they even warnings now? Do we need another colour for danger? - Questions like these now have a million potential answers.

This started life out as a film photograph taken at Kew Gardens London of a palm tree.
I then see that We Are Zanna were taking submissions for art work based on three colours Red, Gold or/and Black for the 2nd issue of their art mag - so i set myself the challenge to only submit photos taken from that day (with Kodak Ektar 100) that had been colour-graded red on Photoshop; to follow the red theme (gold and black did not suit the photos).
Dressed with stars taken from astro-photographs - the finishing touch was added!
